- Found engine oil very dirty and engine appears to have sludge buildup internally. Common for buildup to plug pcv system passages and drain parts within the valve covers. Will need to remove valve covers and likely replace them. Recommend draining oil and filling with a 50/50 mix of oil and ATF to flush system prior to valve cover replacement. Then drain oil again and replace components.
- Remove lower oil pan and inspect for sludge
- VALVE COVER GASKET – Remove & Replace – Both Banks – [Includes: R&I Induction Manifold.]
- Flush oiling system by draining oil filling with a mixture of ATF and engine oil, run for a few minutes, drain, and re-fill with clean oil
